When BDO started offering transferring funds to other banks via InstaPay, they initially charged for the service for a whopping P100. Today, they have announced that they are changing that, and are slashing their InstaPay fee by half.
The announcement was distributed to their eBanking customers tonight, 13 September 2019, and it reads:
Lower Fee for InstaPay
Effective Sept. 16, sending money online to other local banks is now more affordable. For only P50, you can send money in real-time via InstaPay using BDO Online Banking and the BDO Mobile Banking app.
It comes as a welcome respite to BDO customers who probably hold off from doing a lot more InstaPay transactions than their other friends in other banks.
